Shamakhi

Shamakhi – It is one of the most ancient cities in Azerbaijan dated back to 5th century BC. In the Middle Ages, This region was the capital of the Shirvanshah’s government and was one of the fascinating cities in the east. City also has the biggest astrophysical observatory in the Caucasus. • Diri Baba mausoleum, a mausoleum belongs to 1402 for a holy person and still attracts locals as a pilgrimage place.

• Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum complex, mausoleums that were for the family member of the Khan of Shamakhi around 17th centuries.
